Son ensemble Venance Fortunat, qui fut d\u00e8s 1975 le premier groupe de musique m\u00e9di\u00e9vale, chante \u00abclunysien\u00bb ou \u00abcistercien\u00bb selon les occasions architecturales et dogmatiques. Les lignes \u00e9pur\u00e9es de l&rsquo;abbaye cistercienne de Bonmont, au pied du Jura, se pr\u00eataient dimanche \u00e0 la louange exalt\u00e9e des moniales compositrices.<\/strong><\/h6>\n<h6><strong>Comme les \u00c9lo\u00efse, Catherine de Sienne et Th\u00e9r\u00e8se d&rsquo;Avila qui ont inqui\u00e9t\u00e9 le clerg\u00e9 par leur foi sensualiste, certaines voix troublaient: trop mystiques pour \u00eatre pures, trop ardentes pour \u00eatre spirituelles. Les cinq solistes de Venance Fortunat, deux altos extraordinaires et trois sopranos, se sont charg\u00e9es de rendre leur actualit\u00e9 aux \u0153uvres de ces musiciennes extasi\u00e9es, esprits baroques de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque romane, qui ont donn\u00e9 chair \u00e0 la pri\u00e8re. Travaillant sur les volumes et les directions, les voix d\u00e9ambulent lentement dans les bas-c\u00f4t\u00e9s, orientent les monodies, jonglent avec les \u00e9chos. Elles d\u00e9clinent ces neumes dont elles ont retrouv\u00e9 la dynamique naturelle, celle du texte. Le rythme s&rsquo;ajoute \u00e0 la polyphonie avec une composition \u00e9nergique d&rsquo;Hildegarde de Bingen, la Sybille du Rhin; le parcours s&rsquo;ach\u00e8ve au XIVe si\u00e8cle, sur les pas des moniales espagnoles.
